Meet Our Officers: Meet the Team
President
Gauge Goehring
Hey Galt FFA, my name is Gauge Goehring and I will serving as your 25-26 chapter President! This will be my 4th year in the FFA program. Throughout my high school career I have been heavily involved in all things Agriculture. Attending conferences, meetings, running for leadership positions, showing pigs and hanging out with my friends have been the highlights of my high school career. I am apart of both LDE and CDE teams such as job interview and livestock judging. My favorite memory is traveling to livestock workouts in the hills of San Luis Obispo. I am stoked to be serving the Ag program this year and can’t wait to make new friends and memories. My piece of advice for students would be to try and make friends with new people, coming from a different district was hard for me and I was forced to make new friends. It ended up being the best decision moving schools and I am so grateful to be where I am today!

Vice President
Bella Matos
Hey Galt FFA! My name is Bella Matos and I’m so excited and grateful to be serving as our chapter Vice President this year! This will be my fourth year in FFA, and my second year as an officer. During my time in the corduroy, I’ve competed on numerous CDE & LDE events including creed speaking, best informed greenhand, prepared speaking, and cooperative marketing. I also show a market hog at the county fair, served as a chapter and state committee chair, and am a member of the Warrior Grown cooperative in the ag department. Last summer I even had the opportunity to attend Washington Leadership Conference in DC! Outside of the blue jacket, I am also serving as a senior class officer, am a captain on the varsity cheer team, and am super involved in my Portuguese culture. A piece of advice I’d give to all FFA members is to soak in every moment, and take every opportunity available to you because our time in the blue jacket truly goes by so quickly. Let’s make this the best year yet!!
Secretary
Maeve Cordonnier
Hey Galt FFA, I am Maeve Cordonnier and I will be serving as your 2025-2026 chapter Secretary this year! I am a junior and this will be my third year in the FFA program. Throughout my time in the blue jacket I have participated in many CDE and LDE teams as well as being a committee chair, attending conventions, and participating in leadership conferences. Outside of FFA, I am the junior class treasurer and compete in cross country, basketball, and track. My advice to FFA members would be to take the chance and try something new that is outside of your comfort zone. I have had so many more amazing opportunities because I took the risk and tried something new. I am looking forward to spending time with you guys in the year ahead!

Treasurer
Madi Mcdonald
Hey Galt FFA! My name is Madi McDonald and I am serving as your 2025-2026 chapter Treasurer. Over the past few years FFA has taken me on some amazing adventures. I’ve been lucky to attend leadership conferences across the state and country, compete in multiple LDEs and CDEs, gain hands-on experience through SAE projects like raising goats and cattle, and served as one of your committee chairs. When I am not repping the blue and gold I play volleyball and have been swimming for 11 years. My advice to FFA members is to not just wear the jacket-LIVE IT. Say yes to every opportunity, go to meetings, compete in something that interests you. You don’t have to be perfect to be a leader - you just need to be yourself. I am so excited to serve as your treasurer this year and can’t wait to make memories with you all!
Reporter
Hey Galt FFA! My name is Bayley Miller and I am beyond excited to be serving as your 2025-2026 chapter Reporter! This will be my 4th year in the ag program. Throughout my time in the FFA program I have been part of many CDE and LDE teams such as job interview, floral, and ag issues! I have shown market lambs at the sac county fair, had the opportunity to be a committee chair, and also serve as a state delegate. My favorite memory would have to be attending both State and National Convention this past year! Outside of the blue jacket I spend most of my time playing soccer and hanging out with my friends. One piece of advice I would give to our members is enjoy your time in the blue jacket as much as you can, cherish each and every moment before it’s over! I can’t wait to see all the amazing memories we will create with our chapter this year!!

Sentinel
Shayla China
Hey Galt FFA! My name is Shayla China and I am your 2025-2026 chapter Sentinel, and this is my 4th year in FFA and second year as a chapter officer. Throughout my time in the FFA, I have participated in anything you can think of; LDEs, CDEs, conferences, raising livestock, committee chair. My favorite memory in FFA was attending the National FFA Convention last fall. Beyond the Ag program I am involved in ASB as the class Treasurer. I also am a tri-sport athlete taking part in volleyball, soccer, and track. One piece of advice I would give is to enjoy the memories and experiences while you can, it’s like a party every day! I am so excited to serve Galt FFA this year!
